Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch!

Tim was able to take the day off on Wednesday

(a "make up" day for a day he ended up working

during his paternity leave).

Hurrah!

It was a gorgeous day

so we decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch.

I love autumn!

Matthew was his normal adorable, easy-to-please self!
Kate enjoyed her very first hayride!

The train playground was a huge hit with Miss Katie Bug!

Ummm... adorable!

Kate is always a very careful shopper

and she was as discerning as ever when it came to selecting pumpkins

- as demonstrated by her shopping "game face" above.

She is also very generous -

as demonstrated by the fact that she selected 3 pumpkins.

1 for Kate, 1 for Matthew and 1 for Grandma & Papa.

Kate really loves her pumpkin -

as demonstrated by the fact that it now resides

on her bedside table.

(A compromise from her initial insistence

that she sleep with it!)

Happy but exhausted after a fun family day!
