We love 3-day weekends!

We decided to take some time off from our packing and moving related tasks

this morning to take Kate to the

Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History!

Kate's favorite parts were the giraffe....

the bear...

...and running around!

This afternoon we took advantage of the gorgeous weather
and went to play at our neighborhood playground.
It felt so good to be outside after so many weeks of freezing cold weather!

We had a wonderful time catching up with my friend, Kate,

and her fiance, David, who were visiting from California this weekend!

We had a wonderful visit with Ted, Annie, Abby & Barrett last weekend!

Kate loves playing with her cousins...

and she loves airplanes...

so, visiting the National Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center

was pretty much the coolest morning ever!

She's been talking about Abby, Barrett and airplanes all week.
