Home from College

Tim, Kate and I had a fun lunch in Old Town this afternoon with our cousins, Erika and Brendan. It's great to have them home from college this weekend. We love you guys!

with the NoVA Gleasons and Tim's parents!

In keeping with the holiday tradition, we ate WAY too much yummy food!

Kate and I had a lovely play date with Jessica and Lillie this morning. We met at Tyson's Corner and you would never guess who we ran into... Santa Claus! I overheard Kate tell him that all she wants for Christmas is world peace... a bail-out for Citibank... and her two front teeth.

Sounds reasonable to me!

Sunday Brunch with Grandma and Papa

We love having Tim's parents in town! We went to brunch together after church on Sunday. Papa gave Kate her bottle and then she fell asleep in his arms. Too precious!

Weekend with Gran

We had a wonderful visit with my mom this weekend! Kate really loves her Gran... and, as you can tell from these pictures, the feeling is mutual!

and helped us decorate for Christmas!

The Amazing Bumbo Chair

After Kate flipped herself from her back to her tummy for the VERY FIRST TIME, we decided to try for another "first" this morning. Kate really enjoyed her first adventure in the Bumbo chair we borrowed from our friend, Chase. She thought it was pretty cool to sit up independently and it was easier for her to handle her little book with the tray to help hold it up.

Kate loves to hug her pink bunny rabbit while she takes a nap. We think it's pretty adorable! Kate had a big weekend! She went to her very first music class on Friday morning and we helped Grandma and Papa move into their new house on Saturday. Whew! We all took great naps this afternoon!

Growing Too Fast!

Kate officially finished off her first bottle of baby shampoo during tonight's bath. Just another reminder that my baby is growing up too fast!
