One of the many wonderful things about living in the DC areais proximity to the National Zoo!
I love being able to visit the zoo on a whim
and without feeling pressure to see EVERYTHING in one visit.
This morning, we focused on getting to know the panda bears.
It was our first trip to the zoo that Kate actually noticed
and seemed interested in the animals.
In prior trips, she was just interested in watching the other people visiting the zoo.
