After Kate flipped herself from her back to her tummy for the VERY FIRST TIME, we decided to try for another "first" this morning. Kate really enjoyed her first adventure in the Bumbo chair we borrowed from our friend, Chase. She thought it was pretty cool to sit up independently and it was easier for her to handle her little book with the tray to help hold it up.

Rachel, I just saw your comment on Katie's blog (shows how often I notice comments - I should check more often, I guess!) and I'm glad to see this blog. Kate is adorable! She's already so big, and I love all the pictures. I agree, Bumbos are amazing. Give my best to Tim, too!
