Kate hosted her very first party on Sunday afternoon - it was a pumpkin carving party! The weather was gorgeous and we held the party at the playground in our neighborhood. It was fun to carve jack-o-lanterns while the older kids played! Here are a few pics...

Love the edible pumpking--what was that made out of? It looks yummy!
Hey Laura! The pumpkin is made of Rice Krispy treats... tinted orange with food coloring! I also made pumpkin/oatmeal cookies with jack-o-lantern faces made out of candy... but that picture didn't turn out well at all!
